MixManager is a software service that, on a schedule you set, captures audio for your show — either by recording from an internet audio stream you specify, or by fetching a pre-recorded file from a third-party drop folder you have connected (Google Drive, Dropbox, or SFTP) — then uploads the resulting file to your own Mixcloud account using OAuth credentials you authorise. MixManager is not a broadcaster, a record label, a music licensing body, or a long-term media storage service.
MixManager is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or otherwise connected to Mixcloud Ltd or its operating companies. "Mixcloud" is a trademark of Mixcloud Ltd, used here only to identify the third-party platform with which our service integrates via its public API.
You retain full ownership of any audio recorded through MixManager. The recording is your property.
By using MixManager, you warrant that:
You agree to indemnify and hold MixManager harmless from any claims, damages, royalty demands, or legal action arising from the audio content you record or upload via the service, including claims from rights holders, performing-rights organisations, regulators, or third parties.
MixManager is a scheduling/upload service, not a storage service. After your show is successfully uploaded to Mixcloud:
Your Mixcloud account is the canonical home of your shows. MixManager keeps a database record of each upload (title, timestamps, Mixcloud URL) as an audit trail.
Your free trial runs for the period stated at signup (currently 14 days). When the trial ends without an active paid plan, dashboard access is paused — your account, tenants and configuration are preserved.
Paid subscriptions renew monthly unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Each MixManager account covers one station stream by default. To record from additional streams on the same account, add the Multi-Station bolt-on (each copy adds +1 stream allowance, stackable up to 5 additional streams).
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account's "Manage subscription" page, which opens the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period — you'll keep full access to your plan and all your shows until that date, and your card will not be charged again. We do not offer partial refunds for unused time within a billing period.
If you switch to a different plan mid-cycle, we automatically pro-rate the difference: upgrades are charged immediately for the remaining days, downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. All your tiles, schedules, DJ images and uploaded shows are preserved across plan changes — including if you re-subscribe later after a cancellation. Tiles that exceed a lower plan's active limit will simply be paused until you upgrade again.
You agree not to use MixManager to:
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules, with or without notice.
If you enable the Drop Folder bolt-on and connect a Google Drive, Dropbox, or SFTP source, the following additional terms apply:
We may suspend or terminate any account we reasonably consider abusive or in breach of these terms, without prior notice. If your account is suspended or terminated and you believe it was in error, please contact [email protected] and we'll review.
While we aim for high reliability, we make no guarantee of uninterrupted service, lossless capture, or perfect upload timing. Network issues, source stream outages, Mixcloud API limits, third-party drop-folder API outages or policy changes (Google, Dropbox, or your SFTP host), and infrastructure events may cause occasional failures.
Plan limits (active shows, total shows, recordings per month, show duration) are enforced as published on the pricing page and may be adjusted by us with reasonable notice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business opportunity, or anticipated savings, arising from or in connection with the service — whether such damages are foreseeable or not.
Our total aggregate liability to you under or in connection with these terms or the service, regardless of the form of action, shall not exceed £100.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (c) any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
See our Privacy Policy for the full details. In summary: we store the minimum data needed to operate the service: your account email and password (hashed), tenant name, plan, scheduled shows, recording history, Mixcloud OAuth token (encrypted at rest where supported), and uploaded DJ images. We do not sell user data or share it with third parties beyond what is necessary to deliver the service (e.g. Mixcloud upload, payment processing).
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email and via the dashboard at least 14 days before they take effect.
